"Not to sound naive, I suspect that perhaps this CD release may reflect an overseas release of the movie. I don't say this because it's a Japanese album but more so because it helps to explain some of the unfamiliar musical score that it contains. I wish to say that my comments aren't meant to be critical of the music as a whole. My comments have more to do with the technical shortcomings of the project. The plus side: the packaging on this CD is great. Very unique and creative, because it replicates a miniture album-complete with plastic sleeve that houses the CD and an insert listing the songs. Very retro and complete in presentation. A true plus for a collector of movie soundtracks. The negative: the music contained on the CD. In all fairness I can't imagine that given the movie, budget, it's untested new star and the Hong Kong movie industry being what it was, that much thought would have been given to preserving the musical soundtrack for commericial release. Which may be the reason for the poor or missing masters. Having said that, there are a few songs on this CD that have a very decent sound quality, or at least what you would come to expect from a commercial album. These unfortunately are the songs that I am not familair with. They pretty much have a 60's T.V action/adventure feel to them and are not terrible in any way, sort of grew on me after a while. The rest of the CD does contain music that is found in the movie but these are basically just musical excerpts; complete with the accompanying movie dialogue, I guess my biggest disappointment with this CD. Outside of the wonderful packaging, I suppose that I could have achieved the same thing by just recording my copy of the movie and simply converting it to CD. The music sound quality isn't improved in the least bit and the dialogue and sound effects are somewhat distracting. Would I recommend this one? Again, only if you're a fan of Bruce Lee or interested in the genre. I still may purchase the other two titles yet, for the same reason of course."
This edition of the soundtrack should be avoided!

"If you are seeking this soundtrack, the best possible version can be found on iTunes. It's done by the great artist, Peter Thomas and his Sound Orchestra. Its an iTunes exclusive and has scintillating sound quality in comparison to this joke above that sounds like it was dubbed off of a VHS tape. I've long loved the music of this film and I cannot stress how poor the import version above is.
