Product Description

A member of the tight-knit Mobb Deep family, Big Noyd has been a Queensbridge legend since his opening line on the Mobb's song "Give Up The Goods (Just Step)." First getting shine way back in 1993 on Mobb Deep's debut album "Juvenile Hell", Noyd continued to make show stopping appearances on nearly every following Mobb Deep album. His 1996 debut album, "Episodes of a Hustler", was released during a period of incarceration for the infamous Big Noyd. Nevertheless, many consider it a classic. He returned with his sophomore album in 2003, "Only The Strong (Survives)", again in 2004 with "On The Grind" and most recently his two Traffic Entertainment ventures entitled "The Stick Up Kid" and "The Co-Defendants." His latest offering, "Street Kings" picks right up where those two left off. Once again Queensbridge comes correct, with one of their legendary ambassadors holding it down as always.

One more solid album from Noyd

"Big Noyd returns with his 2nd solo of 2008. Since his debut in 1996, he took 7 years to put out another album in 2003, since then he's been one of the busiest men in hip-hop releasing 7 albums over the last 5 years. Like all his work, this one is another very good and solid street album. Like a lot of his last few albums, it is short, with 14 songs and around 38 minutes long. Of the 14 songs, you get 3 that are ok and 11 that are good, some being real good. Guests are only on the last 4 songs and 1 other doing the hook. Production credits are not given but Evidence, Steve Sola and Rick Rude all contributed, as well as some others I'm sure. Another nice album for fans of Noyd or QB rap to have in their collection.
