"My name is Julian Bridges, and I used to be neighbors and very good friends with Bill Anschell and his family. His is an amazing pianist, and all of these pieces are great. This is, in my opinion, his very best album. It is worth the money, these are all amazing songs. And the drummer, Woody Williams (who actually used to be my drum teacher) is an amazing drummer. Listen to track 9, Woody's Turn, and you will be amazed. These are all great songs."
Euphonious jazz!

"Bill Anschell is a wonderful pianist who plays the piano poignantly. This cd clearly demonstrates his skill. The problem, however, is how one song stands out among all the others on the cd. Track 4: "Little Niles" is the most outstanding piece on the cd, and it best displays the skill of Anschell. The intruiging arrangement of the percussion complements the piano and bass beautifully, giving it a mysterious, provocative feel. I have never heard a better performance of this song. I would say this song would make purchasing this cd worthwhile. Even though track 4 makes all the other songs pale in comparison, it is still quite pleasing to hear how skillful the jazz performers are."
