CD ReviewsA Bit of a Disappointment Timothy Schubert | Chicago,IL USA | 12/31/2008 (3 out of 5 stars) "I've always liked Bill Deal and the Rhondells' hits.When I bought this CD I hoped that Collectables had finally gotten their music right.Their track record for releasing great sounding CD's is right up there with Eric and Rhino.I was very disappointed when I heard it,however.These are the same old muddy,cruddy mixes that other labels have released.I had hoped that they would at least clean up the sound,but,either the original masters are in really bad shape or no one seems to want to do the leg work and put in the time necessary to make them sound their best.Too bad."
