"...up to expectations. Love his voice! In a world of forgettable music and meaningless lyrics, it's great to have discovered this guy. Went on his website and it says he's working on something new. I will definitely be looking forward to the next one and would highly recommend this album!"

"Feels like home to a former Pittsburgher to see Bill Deasy on television! I couldn't believe my eyes at first and had to check to see if it was my favorite singer songwriter from my home town! I immediately pulled out "Spring Lies Waiting" and it's been on repeat play ever since. I hope that "good things happen" for one of the most talented singer/songwriters around, Pittsburgh or not! Just ordered "So Close To Home"...can't wait to hear it!"

"A very low-key, beautifully crafted folk album by an extremely talented singer/songwriter - each song can be considered a story or poem set to music. The singer's voice is effortless yet evocative. The music is mostly acoustic - a perfect compliment to the voice & lyrics - and unassuming, yet integral to the whole tapestry. Some gorgeous female backing vocals add another layer to many of the songs. I highly recommend it, though it is a very mellow album, so it may not be to all people's tastes."

"Probably one of the best releases by a singer/songwriter for the last years. It's sweet, soulfull, extraordinary and really touches your heart and mind. That's what we think the first solo release by the "poet in rock" is about. Once listening to it won't be enough to understand the deep emotions it reaches. You won't regret it..."
