"Bill Douglas is one of the most creative, talented, and multi-faceted composers of our time. Listening to greats such as Flow Gently, Sweet Avlon and the Autumn Song are almost spiritual experiences. His music is innovative. Note the extraordinary sound produced when he involves both piano and flute in playing the melody. It is remarkable in that I would never have expected it to work and produce such a moving effect. The subtle rythm sounds are lost on first hearing, leaving much to be discovered in listening again and again. Some of his solo piano work is his most melodic and memorable and I look forward to this new CD with great enthusiasm!"
