One of the greats!

"I first listened to Bill Henderson back in 1962. We must have played his first album over and over every day for a year because he was so damn emotive a singer. Almost 40 years later his versions of "My Funny Valentine" and "Bye, Bye, Blackbird," are still perhaps the best ever cut by any jazz singer, male or female, and "It Never Entered My Mind" the most poignant, gut-grabbing ballad ever cut. If you've never heard him, he's not to be missed--one of the all-time greats of Jazz--and it is impossible to be disappointed by this album. The only wonder remains why this great artist never received the fame he so obviously deserved."
For your listening pleasure.

"Great cd exhibiting the talents of artist Bill Henderson. Smooth and interesting interpertation of classics, including an outstanding version of "Joey, Joey, Joey". A splendid additon to the library of lovers of jazz vocals."
