"Hey Kids! It's Beezlebozo the Clown!!" Hicks' Best Album

""Who the hell is "Beezlebozo?"You're just going to have to purchase Bill Hicks' "Relentless," to find out. In the short amount of time of hearing about this guy and purchasing one of his albums, (time is about three weeks), I have purchased all five of his albums. Or at least the ones I could find. Bill Hicks has grown on me a lot faster than most of the other comics I have listed to. It's just a shame that he went through life without getting the recognition and respect he deserved. How can a brilliant comic genious be so underrated?"Relentless" is 100% Bill Hicks. Filled with anger and outrageous ideas and theories, Bill Hicks is able to make us laugh and think at the same time. He was a man who did not know any fear, and was not afraid to talk about stuff that other comics wouldn't even dare to think about. He doen't follow the traditonal formula, as in talking about love, marriage, and family. No, he talks about drugs, war, politics, and a whole bunch of other things. This is by far the best Bill Hicks CD. I really enjoyed listening to every track. Bill will be missed, and it's up to us to make sure that more people know about him. Hicks was, and still is, a comic genius who knew how to entertain. A great commentator and observer, he was.We miss you Bill! R.I.P."
The Comedy of Hate

"I first discovered Bill Hicks through some specials shown on Comedy Central right before he died in 1994. I thought he was brilliant, but I could only see the clips. In 1998, I found out that he had recorded 4 albums, and I quickly rushed out to by them. I found all of them hilarious and true, but Relentless touched me the most. His genius cannot be underestimated, and I actually try to live by some of his ideals. When I quote him to my friends (many of whom I have turned on to him since then) I always say I am quoting the "Gospel According to Rev. Bill Hicks". His social commentary is so exact and so biting, that even if one is the direct object of his barbs, you cannot help but laugh. A true comedy genius, who I think will be rediscovered in the years to come and will posthumously take his place alond side such twisted geniuses as Andy Kaufman, Lenny Bruce, and Richard Pryor as the one of the greats of American comedy."
Rest In Peace Bill Hicks

"Bill Hicks was one of a kind. He was a true comic genuis, untimely departed and sorely missed.
Bill Hicks was a phenomenon, that touched thousands like no other comedian could or can in the future.
Bill Hicks was a frustrated young man, with so much anger against the establishment, be it political, social, religious, musical, or the military.
Bill Hicks was a humanitarian, that married his comic talent to his views of an unjust and hypocrite world.
Bill Hicks, had the courage to say what we think about but dare not utter for fear of being social outcasts, be it his love of pornography, smoking, or his hate of mediocrity, both socially and intellectually. How many of us dare to attack with such intensity established popular figures in politics, and music? very few!
Bill Hicks was a liberal of the most genuine kind, believing in the sanctity of personal choice and freedom.
Bill Hicks was as politically incorrect as we all wish we could be, without its excesses, racism and sexism.
Bill Hicks was an elitist, who while striving to see people become better human beings on all levels, attacked the masses, that swallow without a thought, a lot of garbage.
Behind his dark cloak and comedy of hate as he described it, there was a very sensitive nice man who longed for love. He had so much idealism which translated badly in the real world, and this was a source of immense frustration.
But despite all that, he made us laugh our head off..
Laugh and think..this was his genuis, engulfed with so much sarcasm..a more humane real life version of Edmund Blackadder.
Had he still been alive, he would not have found many changes in the world..The same political realities, the same musical rubbish, only the names have changed..But thanks to him, many look at these names with a different eye.
His God is one entity that loves all humanity..
His desire is to evolve and continue evolving to become a better human being..
We hope his message and desire will reach as many people as it can, to make this world a better place, one day."
Hysterical and insightful.

"Bil Hicks is a comedian who has joined the ranks (if posthumously) of Carlin, Bruce and Pryor. I was very much a Johnny-come-lately to his work, but having just discovered it at age 20, the appeal was instant.
On "Relentless," Bill Hicks attacks the guilty and self-righteous people who like to think of themselves as politically correct--especially those who disdain pornography, smoking and drugs to the most extreme extent--exposing them as the hypocrites they are.
This album was made ten years ago, but the material still is pertinent to our times, particularly since TV news is not only blown out of proportion, but is almost always depressing.
When I first heard this album, I laughed so hard, I nearly stopped breathing. But I also became enlightened."

"I remember watching Bill Hicks when I was a kid and thinking, "That's what I want to do when I grow up" and now I'm a comic. His style, his pacing and his sheer irreverence of "the norm" just spoke to me. Unfortunately, he died much too young and almost undiscovered by most people. Bill's take on people and life in general are relevant even today. He was the Lenny Bruce of his day, but he wasn't Lenny Bruce. He was a brilliant social commentator with a unique attack on his craft. If you want to know more about him read "AMERICAN SCREAM" and listen to ALL of his albums. You'll be better for it."
