"I grew up in the 1960's listening to Bill Pearce play the horn because my Dad had many of his LPs. I remember being amazed by his incredibly sweet tone, outstanding range and versatility. I tried to copy his style when I was learning to play the "T-Bone" in the school band. Needless to say, I never came close to achieving his skill level. This CD is an inspirational blend of "Cherished Christian Favorities" of mellow as well as up tempo tracks. The arrangements, backup vocals and instrumental accompaniment on all tracks are first rate. My personal favorities are Tracks 5, 13 & 18. The CD also contains 3 vocal tracks that showcase his beautiful bass voice. God certainly blessed Bill with incredible talent and he used it for over 50 years to bring glory to God and stir the souls of his listeners encouraging them to seek a close personal relationship with the Lord. It saddened me when I learned that his last concert and recording session occurred in 1995. He is no longer able to play the horn because Parkinson's disease has eroded his skills."
