"These guys tour nationally and are a fantastic show. Billy is particularly impressive on the upright bass as are the crazy antics of lead guitarist Jerry "Hot Rod" DeMink. The band just reacquired the legendary talents of their original drummer, Randy "The Hammer" Willert (formerly of "The Voices") and the band has never been better. Billy is known for "mounting" his bass during shows, balancing in mid air while plucking away, or picking up the monstrosity and playing it like a guitar. Hotrod probably the most gymnastic guitarist in the business...but he is more than just a showman...he has a Chicago blues pedigree that John Lee Hooker would envy. The material on the album itself is another masterful example of Billy Bacon's songwriting talents. This album is lots of fun. The cut "Martha's Taco's" is in honor of Jerry's Mother, Martha, who cooks up fantastic Mexican food for her son's shows on Thursday nights at the Tiki Lounge in San Diego. There's also a hidden gag-track at the end of the album, "Pardon My Gun" that is hillarious. You will not be disappointed with this purchase."
