"From the creative genius behind Ultravox comes the latest in a string of outstanding CDs that feature that unique, haunting melody only Billy Currie can produce. PUSH is no exception. PUSH is in fact a bit of a departure form the more formal symphonic elements heard in his last 2 CDs and incorporates more of the electronic elements intertwined with viola and violin. This CD weaves and bobs through lush, gorgeous melodies and harmonizing electronic symphonies. Personal favorite tracks are Kissing the Shame, one of those soaring pieces that layers multiple melodies and themes within one song. You hear something new and beautiful each time you listen to it. Why Do You Hang on Me is a truly haunting piece. The violin (or viola?) breakdowns in this song are as spine tingling as it gets. Like wandering the halls of an old elegant steamship or grand hotel, in the dark!. And then there's Theremin, well, suffice it to say, you'll just have to hear it to believe it. Its the kind of CD that you find a new favorite track every day. The kind you keep hearing even when you're not listening to it. But that could be said of all Currie's work. What sets this CD apart is the fresh, modern sound of the music that still harkens back to the nostalgic elements we all love in his work."
