Montserrat Caballe In Rare Performance

"This cd is really a nice find for the Caballe fan.Caballe was past her prime here,but still sounds good.

This cd is short,but does have some grand music,and the singers accompaning montsy are excellent.This is a little known oratorio rarely performed,that may be of interest to a bizet admirer.I have to say I really enjoyed the libretto,the lyrics were mystical and spiritual,and yes somewhat esoteric.And I have to say Caballe is my favorite opera singer,so I just had to add clovis & clotilde to my collection.

The sound quality is excellent with a nice balance of voices and music.
