"former thee hypnotics vocalist jim jones may have taken a long hiatus since their demise, but he's strapped on a guitar and started a great new power trio - black moses. not only is this guy one helluva singer, he's a good guitarist too. 'hot grundies' might be one of the best rock songs i've heard in ages. also check out 'second skin,' 'blown away,' 'strange life,' and '20*20,' as well as their latest record - royal stink."
Nevermind The Strokes, Here's Black Moses...

"From the ashes of Thee Hypnotics (THE best rock n roll band of the early 90's in my book) comes this fantastic debut release of raw, brooding gargage rock from London's best new band. Forget about the White Stripes, Strokes, and the Hives, Black Moses are rock n roll to the bone and have been channeling the Stooges, MC5, and the Stones long before it was considered cool to do so. If you are a fan of any of the above band I HIGHLY recommend coping this CD and taking a journey in to the mouth of rock n roll madness."
