"The Black and White Soundtrack is a frustrating effort because of the amount of filler present on the CD. Since the amount of total tracks is less than other compilations(only 13 songs) one would hope that each of them would be great. Unfortunately the soundtrack has its share of fast forward button material. The "Year 2000" remix is pretty good, as are the offerings from the X-ecutioners, Dead Prez, Prodigy, and Everlast. There are also some alright efforts from American Cream Team and Raekwon. The filler material starts to seep in at the end in the form of the second American Cream Team song and some R&B tracks. All in all, this soundtrack has a lot of potential but wastes it on material that does not really fit with the higher quality part of the soundtrack. The Black and White Soundtrack reminds me too much of the Sunset Park Soundtrack where some excellent songs are stuck between less desirable contributions. Basically if you have an urge to listen to top Loud Record artists on one album then buy the Black and White Soundtrack; if not, save your money."
