A Project by Davide Penta and Pippo Lombardo, Respectively Basso and Piano Player of the Group Balanço, Balanço is the New Proposal Signed Fez. Under the Artistic Production Fo Nicola Conte, the Band is Running Through a Music Route Along which You May Find Bossa and Jazz, Soundtracks and Songs, and Even a Fusion Between Drum N? Bass and Easy Listening Such as the Tune "Acquadream", from the Debut Album "bossa and Balanço". The Album was Released in 1997 Providing an Interesting Combination of Original Compositions by the Two Artists and Rmxs of Classic Tracks Such as "metti Una Sera a Cena" by Ennio Morricone and "cinnamon and Clove" by Johnny Mandel. Musically the Album is Shaped by Numerous Combinations of Instruments; From Harpsichords and Hammonds to Afro-brazilian Percussions and Mediterranean Melodies all with the Complicity of the Versatile Voice of Mariella Carbonara.

"Bossa and Balanco isn't bad, but it's one of those albums that has to grow on you. Mariella Carbonara's voice is a bit underdeveloped, and seems to have trouble reaching the right notes in her voice. I'd recommend Balanco's later album, called "More". This one has more of something, but overall, this album is decent."

"Balanco is no Nicola Conte, but they've got a decent vibe. The tunes are all mid-tempo (some double-timed to good effect) and I think I've caught my neighbors listening in when it's been on. Vinyl lovers beware that the record only has six tracks: 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, and 10 which is a real disappointment. I thought about pegging them a star for that, but then the first song, a Morricone remake, got stuck in my head. Call it 3.5 stars rounded up."
