"I have to inform all of you (at least those who are interested in dance music at all) of this amazing three-disc set mixed together by Blaze for the Soul Heaven. I don't know if I have the proper qualifications to really get into why you should get it but it's just good stuff. I'm not the biggest club goer and I've been out of the scene for a while now but I have been going to the Turntables on the Hudson parties here in NYC as of late and this set definitely appeals to that crowd.
Each disc has a good amount of songs that you can play over and over and Blaze is one of the most consistent groups (consisting of Kevin Hedge and Josh Milian) anyway in terms of their releases, so automatically this is a purchase to be seriously considered. It's soulful, it has great tracks and the transitions from track to track are flawless.
This is a very tight mix for those who appreciate artists like Masters at Work, Gilles Peterson, Jeannie Hopper, Erick Morillo, Kings of Tomorrow, Danny Krivit, Joe Clausell, Armand Van Helden and Larry Levan.

Undeground At Its Best

"I've purchased house CDs where I have been excited about its contents, only to be disappointed when place it in my CD player. That is not the case with Soul Heaven. It is soulful underground at it's best. I can actually enjoy every cut and feel like I am at Club Shelter (NY). Other compilation producers should take note as this is how a CD should be produced. While the 3rd CD is full of Blaze music that I already own, the CD is excellent CD from start to finish. Enjoy!"
