An acquired taste!

"I thought that Blind Dog's first album, "The Last Adventures..." would be a tough one to top; was I wrong. "Captain Dog Rides Again" is killer cool music. I would liken it to a crossbreed of earlier Clutch jam rock with mid-90's COC, but more uptempo, and "electric." The rhythms are tight, the singing gruff, powerful and satisfying, and the guitar playing stellar within the song structures. For a three man band these guys sure carve out some full, heavy & raw, blusey metal. No sludge here, as all songs move at a good clip, and tend to pound out their own time. The instrumental work here kicks ass!"
