Synopsis

Product Description
Horizoner is a meticulously crafted thrash/rock mammoth of an offering, built to seek and destroy! Being the band's proper debut full length and follow up to their jaw dropping Translation Loss debut release entitled EP, Horizoner showcases the future of metal and rock while playing homage to classic rock sounds of the past.

Consisting of Alex Garcia-Rivera (drums), Matt Woods (bass/vocals), and Adam Wentworth (guitar/vocals), Bloodhorse formed at the tall-end of 2004 as an informal avenue of keeping busy during the down time of their respective bands. Though a relatively new group, the members of Bloodhorse have spent the last decade touring and releasing records with an expansive collective resume that includes 454 Big Block, Shelter, The Red Chord, Saves The Day, American Nightmare and Premonitions Of War.

Simply said, Horizoner will blow you away!

CD Reviews

It's about damn time!!!!!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've been waiting since their self titled EP for them to release a full length and here it is!!!!! If you liked the EP then this will not disappoint. I read a description of it and reviews on stonerrock.com and it was accurately described: "Bloodhorse still might be the best kept secret in the world of stoner rock. Horizoner is a clinic on how to execute instrumentally driven, well-balanced rock that is as technically competent as it is satisfying. The guitar work is incredibly versatile, the bass lines are capable of standing alone (killer tone certainly helps), and the drumming rarely settles into a predictable course. With strong influences from classic rock (The Who, Deep Purple), metal (Entombed, Metallica), and slight touch of hardcore/punk (Black Flag), Bloodhorse has crafted one hell of a modern stoner rock record in Horizoner. This will certainly end up on my 2009 top ten list come December." I couldn't agree more and have finally got this one on play today and it's already on it's third run through. I can't wait until they tour."
