"I was forewarned about this disc being of piss poor quality as it was apparently recorded by one of the band's roadies.Of all the bootlegs/unearthed shows I've heard in the last umteen years, this CD is of fair quality.First 35 minutes took place at the San Jose Civic Arena in 1968."Summertime Blues" is rough, but at least the mix SEEMS to improve a bit on "Parchment Farm","Rock Me Baby",the Stones cover "Satisfaction" and "Doctor Please".Dick Peterson's vocals are a touch rough but at least Leigh Stephen's guitar actually sounds halfway decent.A couple of bonus tunes are added, like two more versions of "Summertime Blues" and a song that was penned by Peterson,"Second Time Around".Perhaps the best cut on the entire disc.Meant for collectors and Blue Cheer completists."
STEAR CLEAR OF THIS ONE!!!!

"I am not going to get into a discussion about the performance because it is impossible to tell anything about the performance-the recording is the worst of any bootleg that I have ever heard. You can hear a little music waaaaaaaaaaaaay in the background. Impossible to tell if the performance was any good or not. What you can hear fairly well are people talking and chewing and smoking and spitting etc.
Not sure what anyone was thinking releasing this - it sounds like it was recorded on a portable mono dictaphone and in no way would be appreciated even by the family of the band!"
