San Francisco's Best Kept Secret!

"The Blue Room Boys played in a little bar in SF's Mission District, Radio Valencia, for a few years before it closed, giving people a reason to go out for a fun, toe-tappin' night every Friday. The BRB are a group of experienced musicians (some of whom play sessions with the likes of Lavay Smith and Tom Waits) and a swoony chanteuse who give the perfect mix of tight swing and jazz melodies with a relaxed atmosphere. One feels like you're in someone's living room with some boys from the neighborhood..."Driving You Crazy!" is the BRB's second CD, and although it rivals their first for song choice and quality, they've obviously matured without losing the laid back sound they're known for. "King Joe" and "My Blue Heaven" are two of the best on the album. If you like musicians like Django Reinhardt, groups like Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers - this is a welcome addition to any CD collection."

"I randomly picked up the Blue Room Boys previous CD (Mr. Jive's Pleasure Platter) about a year ago and was blown away. When I heard they had a new one out, I had to pick it up. It's one of the best new CDs I've heard in a long time."
