Synopsis

Product Description
Blue Sky Black Death, the renowned URB Next 100 production duo of Kingston & Young God, present ''The Holocaust Instrumentals.'' Originally released in late 2006 in an inspired full length pairing between BSBD and Wu-Tang Clan affiliated emcee, The Holocaust (4,000+ units scanned to date), fans have long been clamoring for the stripped down instrumentals from this widely regarded release. In addition to pairing with The Holocaust, Blue Sky Black Death have also collaborated with and/or produced for the likes of Guru (Gang Starr), Sabac Red (Non-Phixon), Jus Allah (Jedi Mind Tricks), Wise Intelligent (Poor Righteous Teachers), Rob Sonic, Virtuoso, Chief Kamachi, Hell Razah, A-Plus and Pep Love (Hieroglyphics), Mikah-9 (Freestyle Fellowship), and Awol, amongst many others. With The Holocaust Instrumentals, Blue Sky Black Death offer a highly anticipated snapshot of their sonic sensibilities from this unique collaborative project.

CD Reviews

Addictive dark funky beats

(5 out of 5 stars)

"BSBD always makes incredible music. If you don't like rap, you may be tempted to avoid them, but they are more musically astute than most DJs and live instrumentalists out there. And fortunately they do have an impressive selection of instrumental albums.

This album is more for the beat freak purist. If you like this, but want more variety and layer upon layer of meticulously orchestrated instrumentation and scientifically precise sampling, make BSBD's album Late Night Cinema your next choice. Or just buy them both now - you'll be very happy you did."
