Blue Sueños ? One word in Spanish and one in English ? both words together describe the cross-cultural, dreamy, languid vibe of this collection. Inspired by the endless rich grooves emanating from all the Latin cultures, this is an infectious collection of forgotten finds, previously unreleased original tracks and new remixes of traditional as well as modern Latin sounds. It is fleshed out with new music from the vibrant Nortec scene out of Tijuana, vintage cinematic son combos, Puerto Rican guitar hallucinations and remix productions from Charles Webster, Bill Laswell and subsonic hip-hopper Fat Jon.
