"This CD is just Bob - one voice, one guitar - and it's a testament to the strength of the songs that it's my favourite one. Not to say I don't like the usual arrangements - I do. It's just that there's something very special about hearing just the man and his song. And what songs! His storytelling is as strong as ever on "Rag And Bone Man" and "Horseshoe Man" and "Free Now" is one of the saddest things I've ever heard, yet it's uplifting. "Drowning Moon" is creepy and addictive. There's plenty of light and shade on this album. This is just my opinion, and as the man himself says, "opinion is the lowest form of knowledge". Check it out for yourself."
