CD ReviewsThe New Age One Man Band Crooner's Futuristic Tribal Folk Ep B. Nelson | Glen Arm, MD USA | 08/20/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "The record is strange, even scary, it's highly original, primitive and futuristic. Hippy music in the extreme sense. One man that played all the instruments, even made the instruments himself. Bobby Brown's musical approach was very odd, and his singing approach is odd as well. His voice is powerful and animated, with a strange delivery at times. The lyrics have to do with this young mans journey, and his religious journey and discovery, and it's a very strange one at that. As a whole, The "Enlightning Beam Of Axonda" released in 1971 by Bobby Brown, is one of the strangest records ever released. It's at times brilliant, cultish, scary, and mind numbing. Serious in it's metaphysical message, the record is strange and must be listened to with an open mind ."
