Probably his second best.

"More "lyrical" than the Carry on album, this is also a masterpiece. I first bought it in the vinyl format long ago, and couldn't resist purchasing the cd when it was released ! The collaborations are less flashy than on his follow up cd, but the result is high quality anyhow. A fine balance of slow songs ("Coming down from love", "I don't want to lose yourlove"), rythmic songs ("Wrong or right", "Mother of creation") and very soulful ones ("It's over"). Another cd you MUST have ...in your hat."
Great Follow-up album

"I remember seeing Bobby Caldwell perform "Coming Down From Love" on some local independent television channel. In an era of Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, The Midnight Special, Saturday Night Live, Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, etc.... I remembered thinking "Who is handling this guy's career and why is he on a public access channel?"This should have been a great follow up album to his debut offering, but again - small labels and promising artists don't fare well together.I'll always dig the rock-steady ballads and anti-sophisticated grooves of the Cat in the Hat album, mainly because they were so jingle-like and so easy to sing along to."
Masterfully done

"This sophomore album seemed more cohesive and less pretentious than his debut project. Great music from start to finish. Ive always been a fan especially of his earlier work."
