"I truly believe that this is the best CD produced in many years. Bobby reminds me of Frank Sinatra. I STRONGLY urge you to get this CD. It has helped me get through some difficeult times. Song #15 "Good to Me" has brought tears to the 32 year old "tough guy's" eyes. Song #9 'Once upon a Time" is extremely romantic and sentemental. Play this CD in the presence of someone special. I originally bought the CD for "What you won't do for Love", but I fell in love with every selection. The remake of what you won't do for love originally disappointed me but it has grown on me so much that I prefer it to the original. I only wish mr. Caldwell would go on tour in the US."

"What a discovery! I vaguely remember Bobby Caldwell from my sixth grade days, back in 1991, when he did a duet with Marilyn Scott, "Back to You". That song was just beautiful and timeless. Then recently, I heard "Real Thing" on the radio, and I instantly fell in love with it and can't stop playing it in my head! I did some research on the net, and found out that he has released many albums before, even before I was born... So I ran to the nearest CD store, and bought Timeline (too bad his CDs are hard to find here), so that way I get to hear all the greatest hits from him... And what a great CD it is!Here's some of my favorites:
1. Real Thing: no wonder it's a big hit, especially here in Asia. It's very catchy and very uplifting.
2. Don't Ask My Neighbor: a great song, you can't help but sing along.
3. Let It Be Me: another classic song, but it's different when Bobby sing it.
4. Once upon a Time: a very romantic song, just listen to the melody.
5. Don't Lead Me On: a unique "doo-wop" style, we don't hear it often nowadays.
6. Baby, It's Cold Outside: a marvelous duet between Bobby and Vanessa Williams, another uplifting song.
7. Good to Me: a brand new song and a very touching one.But these are just some of his masterpieces. To get the "real thing", you simply MUST BUY this CD! You won't regret it!"
I'm stuck on Bobby Caldwell

"After buying this CD, I am now a great fan of Bobby Caldwell. His style is romantic and sensual, but with a bit of the big band feel. There is not one song on this CD that I don't like; "My Flame" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (with Vanessa Williams), are just two of the fabulous songs from this collection!"
A must have for Bobby Caldwell fans

"If you are a Bobby Caldwell fan you must have this cd. "My flame" is a song that has been burning in my mind for years...now I finally have it. "Coming down from love "& "Jamaica" are also great classics. The only disappoinment was the new version of "What you won't do for love" He should have let that classic stand alone. Every song is worth having. His style is very romantic."

"I am a big fan of Bobby's, but was disappointed with this "good" but not "great" release. I hope "Timeline, Vol. 2" includes some of his better songs. I don't understand the selection of these over great ones such as "All or Nothing at All," "Walk on By," and "Solid Ground." I was also disappointed with the new version of "What You Won't Do For Love." All the familiar vocal hooks have been taken out of it for the sake of "modernizing." This is not a true greatest hits package. Still waiting for the next studio album after he gets over his "big band" fever. He's the most underrated singer-songwriter-arranger- instrumentalist of this generation. I wish his "Live in Tokyo" video would be released in the U. S."
