"To a trumpeter or indeed anyone who loves this fine music and all who strove to practice it, the work of Bobby Hackett is a yardstick that is unsurpased. This reviewer is always excited whenever I see a new Hackett release. However, this is by far the worst sounding recording I've ever heard complete with an anoying echo, digital high frequency whine, and a sound as though Bobby Peewee etc were under water. I heard one track from a test pressing that sounded wonderful compared to this. If you care about the work that this gentleman did, or more importantly to preserve fantastic music in its purist form, don't purchase this. Do yourself and your bank account a favor.
