"This album burns in a mellow way, as great jazz can. Craig Handy and Jerry Gonzalez provide interesting horn solos, alternating with Bobby's slick vibe tones. Mulgrew Miller, Ron Carter, and producer Lenny White himself provide solid rhythmic support.
Though perhaps not the most impressive display of the ostensible leader's playing ever recorded, the overall ensemble effect is
quite pleasing. Great listening music!"
