Album Description"Back Out Here Again" is tough funky blues and hard-driving soul, sincere and humorous. The title track gets the disc's mood going with a rocking groove. The pungent "Big Thigh Cutie Pie" appears twice as radio and club mixes. "Nobody Knows Me Like My Baby" is an excellent romantic ballad and "Plan B" is a slow burner with great guitar work. "I Got Yo Hoochie" is a mid-tempo groove. "How Do You Spell Love" has an even harder funkier treatment here than his original Paula cut in 1972 that was covered by the Fabulous Thunderbirds. "You Can't Take The Truth Out Of The Blues" is a strong straight blues with a stinging guitar accompaniment. In the jazz-infused "Must Be The Hood In Me" that includes a short rap, Bobby makes reference to Jesse Jackson, Rosa Parks and Mohammed Ali. "Back Out Here Again" is truly enjoyable and features the legendary storyteller at his best.
