""California Dreaming" will NEVER sound the same to you after you hear Bobby Womack do it. I'd always previously heard what most people hear: the Mamas and Papas doing it. They sound absolutely awful after you hear Bobby singing it. That was the first song I ever heard Bobby Womack sing (this year, 2002) and I earnestly started listening to more. The man doesn't know how to do a bad song. His entire output is fabulous. Another thing you might like about him is that he is a welcome change from the overabundance of rap music we now have. He is not a rap, hip hop or street artist. Although I have my favorites in those genres, I'm just as glad to make a discovery outside of it, of someone whose primary claim to fame is fabulous singing."

"Bobby Womack has so much Fire&Life in His Work that it just Screams at you.as a Composer,Musician&Vocalist their's nothing this Brother can't do.Across 110th Street&A Woman's Gotta Have it alone are Hall OF Fame Material.He has so Many Styles here it's AMazing at his Depth.His Influence is Felt over Many Artists.this Brother is a Genius His Work is Soulful to the Mind&Spirit."
