Album Description2008 digitally remastered and expanded edition of the debut album from the British Cow-punksters. Their songs drew on traditional roots elements (banjo, fiddle, squeezebox) but injected the DIY/anti-authoritarian mindset of Punk, leading to riotous live gigs and this, their sole album, which has been packaged with attendant singles and bonus tracks. The booklet contains an expansive history of the band, taken from interviews with former members. Chief among the revelations is the fact that, while 'delivering' the album at a studio in Inverness, joint-singer Marnie also delivered a 'real' baby - and was back in the studio the next day. Troopers! Cherry Red.
