Landsbergis is the master when it comes to Ciurlionis!

"If you know who Mikalojus Ciurlionis is, you probably Vytautas Landsbergis as well. Currently he is a Minister in the Lithuanian Parliment and in the late 1980's he was Prime Minister. Landsbergis also is today's greatest authority on the life and work of Ciurlionis.The CD "Born of the Human Soul" is full of the rich expression found in Ciurlionis' music. Perhaps more that anyone else, he is able to capture the heart of Lithuania's greatest composer. This is a CD every person admiring Ciurlionis should possess.As with most Lithuanian produced music, the print runs are limited, so if it is available today, order it now. Who knows if you'll be able to find one if you wait.Let me also add-- run a search under books for Landsbergis' biography "Ciurlionis... Time and Content". It is wonderful and very difficult to find these days, but definitely worth the effort to locate."
