Excellent Heavy Stoner Rock

""Feel's So Good When You're Gone" is the second offering from the relentless touring machine known as Bottom. If you own "Made In Voyage", the first thing you'll notice is that band pulled out all the stops to make a much harder, sinister sound. If you don't know the band, I suppose I should mention this is an all female band. If you're one of those guys, who think girls can't rock. Prepare to be re-educated about the gender. It seems that female bands have done really well in the past decade or so, but not in hard rock and metal. One reason is the vocals. It just seems hard to pull off hard and heavy without an Adam's apple. Sina, the lead singer, has managed to pull it off and then some. She's developed her style into what I feel is the best female voice in hard rock. She can go from a rough heavy scream back down to a soft sultry whisper (something guys can't do - "Angermeistar").Nila and Clementine back it up with grinding thunder. Low and heavy like Goatsnake. "X On Yr Hed" is particularly low and heavy. It just comes in waves lower and heavier than before. If you're a fan of heavy stoner-rock, you won't be disappointed.I also have to say that it's refreshing to see a female band that's not using sex to sell records and get attention. They could, believe me. It's just hard to take any band seriously that does that. Bottom is all about the music - respect the rock.I expect big things for this band, probably out of sheer will and brute force. Doing 300 shows a year displays incredible drive."

"These chicks rock like Sabbath playing in a graveyard or like a Led Zeppelin exploding! Be sure to check out their first album "Made In Voyage""
