"An astounding debut! Think Smashing Pumpkins or The Cure without the artifice and updated for our times. A beautifully crafted and amazing sound. All the more impressive that its source is a 23-year-old from Boston."
Boy in Static? more like Joy Emphatic!

"sorry, that title was cheesey. but you know what isn't? this cd. that's right. it's a good one. if you like etherial computer blips and beats with a nice low key voice over it, then get this. radiohead of course paved the way for this type of music, but they paved a pretty wide street so a lot of people can add what they want to bring to this genre. don't expect to listen to this in the locker room before the big game to get you all pumped up. it's more like something you'd want to bring to an opium den or something. very relaxing music. it's good. just get it. you'll just waste your money on something else anyway. might as well have a good cd."
My favorite CD of 2006

"This album has been my favorite new album of 2006, and it has earned the most play time on my CD player in the past months since it's release. Coming from someone unknown, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was totally blown away.
I'd say this album would be a hit for anyone who's a fan of DNTEL, The Notwist, the Postal Service, or other bands similar to those."
