"I'd been a fan of Bracket since I heard their single, 2Rak005, and I'd grown to love them even more after I bought When All Else Fails and Novelty Forever. My next purchase was their Live in a Dive album, and it might be the best one I've heard. The passion of the band comes through very well on this album.
It should be noted that some of the songs are played much differently than their studio versions, and it lends the album more originality than one would expect from a live album. For example, Warren's Song Pt. 8 is given a lengthy instrumental introduction and 2Rak005 is played in a very down-tempo, almost reggae style. It is a very cool album. They keep the crowd involved with little bursts of wit sprinkled here and there, without taking the focus away from the music.
Their live effort is terrific and stands right beside their studio releases in terms of quality and bang for buck.
I definitely reccomend this album to fans of melodic punk or good music in general."
