"Ahh the mid 90's midwest explosion. I could go on for days about some of those bands/albums that changed my life. "The age of octeen" seems to shine brightly through Braid's inconsistencies before and even after this album. Many of you may (and i'm sure you will) disagree, but with present album excluded, Braid were a hit and miss band for me. I'm not saying their other albums are throwaways, "frankie", "movie music", "Frame and canvas" etc..all have their moments, But "octeen" tops 'em all."
