Another enjoyable Cd from Brent Burns

"Brent's new Cd continues the tradition he started with his first two offerings. "Tropical Nuts" contains more of the clever "Buffett-esque" wordplay and semi-novelty songs that Brent is so good at. "Jamaicanmecrazi" and "Top Down and Ridin' Around" are great tunes to listen to at the beach, and "Victoria's Secret", "I'm Going Ugly", "Size Matters", "Men Fake It Too", "Always the Man's Fault" (is Brent leaving a bad relationship?) and "Seasick Again" are all good songs that also make you smile. I am not a big country music fan, but even I enjoyed the more country-flavored cuts on this Cd. "They're Getting Married Again" was great on it's own, and the next tune, "Sympathy Card", sounded like it was written by the ex-husband to the new groom, a great song pairing! If you like early Buffett, and tropical "Gulf & Western" music, give "Tropical Nuts" or all 3 of Brent Burns' Cd's a try, you won't be disappointed!!"
