Not worth it, even on the cheap.

"If you're looking for the cream of British Rock, RUN AWAY FROM THESE DISCS. These were sold on TV in the late 80s, when CDs were just coming into vogue, and although they are the original recordings by the original artists ("It's Not Unusual" by Tom Jones is inexplicably represented by a live recording), and most of them are owned by then-PolyGram, they are mastered from sub-standard tapes, and in some cases, FROM SCRATCHY RECORDS!!! I bought these in 1987; as soon as I got enough of the Rhino "The British Invasion" CDs to cover, they went into the garbage. Trust me, there are now enough QUALITY reissues of what's on these discs (most recently on Universal's "British Invasion - Gold" CD), so my advice is to STAY AWAY from this collection."
