Synopsis

Amazon.com
On this 1997 outing, the precocious pack of Broadway belters brings their stadium-size-and-still-growing pipes to the songs of the silver screen. Sometimes it works, mostly with classics like "Talk to the Animals" from Dr. Dolittle, "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, and "High Hopes" from A Hole in the Head. Other times, like the theme to Ghostbusters, the effect is more weird than winsome; picture Ray Parker Jr. singing Annie's "It's the Hard-Knock Life." Still, finding fault with these chirpy singing champs, harmonizing as they do with earnest sincerity and effortless sweetness, isn't easy, and anyone with a penchant for pint-size performers who pour every last ounce of their 80-or-so-pound frames into their craft will want to take this spin to the cinema. --Tammy La Gorce

Perfect for any Broadway Fan!

"This was an absolutly wounderful music selection.(and still is!) My favorites having to be: Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid and sung by Eden Riegel(an exceptionally talented girl.), Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King and sung by Michael Shulman(another talented performer!), Fame from Fame sung by Cassidy Ladden and Ariel Harris Osumenya (two talented girls), and my absolute favorite being You've got a Friend in Me from Toy Story sung by Amy Braverman and Travis Jordan Greisler(both with amazing vocal talents.) What I love about the B.K.'s is how original they are. A very positive group that gives you a positive feeling when you listen to their music. A MUST for any music fan!"
Great CD for any music fan!

"My younger sister, in a dance recital, did the Broadway Kids version of "King of New York", and about a year later, her and I did the same song for our figure sjating show.
We love this CD.
My favorites are:
King of New York- from the "Newsies (one of my favorite movies)
Fame--- from "Fame"
Ghostbusters---from "Ghostbusters"
As well as others.
AWESOME CD!"

""Don't Go Hollywoood On Us" alone makes this CD worth it's price. "King of New York" is a great song, so is the "Wizard of Oz" medley. A CD you won't be embarassed to have your kids listen to, and you might even listen to when your kids are NOT with you! Great for anyone looking for music to dance to for talent shows or dance schools. Wonderful, full orchestrations."
