Silky Smooth Brook...

"Brook Benton has one of those smooth singing styles along with Sam Cook, Nat King Cole and John Gary that just wraps itself around a song and makes you want to hear it over and over again. This particular collection is home to some of my favorite songs from my pre-teens. My dad was a Brook Benton fan and through him I learned to appreciate a song sung the way it was meant to be. The string arrangements that accompany Benton's awesome voice are nothing short of perfect. You rock-n-roll fans (that includes me) may scoff at this music style, but given a fair chance Brook Benton will win you over...I guarantee it!"
