"Now understand this, I love Brotha Lynch. Season of Da Siccness is one of the rawest lyrical albums ever released, but the truth is that this album tops it. Alright, the first thing that pops out with this CD is how clean the beats are. Really no recycled garbage here. Phonk Beta's beats are so perfect that they prove that the people behind the scenes are equally as important as the lyricists. It's a double CD, even though the second CD only has 4 songs on it. But after the excellent first CD you pop this one in and it completes the perfect volume. There are such a wide array of songs, from serious to dance tracks to tracks just to roll with. Instead of being so much of the Ripgut Cannibal that he was in the past he has become a storyteller. The stories told have become more real and just plain better than anything on the market.. period. The last thing I can really say about this album is that in purchasing it, you are doing yourself a favor. And on top of that, when you buy it, you'll have no choice but to pass the favor on to others."

"Alright, before buying this I'd only heard a few B-Lynch songs, but they were considerably good. However what coaxed me to buy the album was the great value. You're getting 2 CDs and a DVD for the price of your average LP CD and it is worth every dollar. From start to finish this contains almost all ill tracks and very little filler. It's very reminicent of the old school early 1990's hiphop that we don't hear much of anymore, however Lynch still manages to bring his own unique sound and flow. He still keeps it sick and it still has that raw style to it. It's extremely versatile and contains some emotional tracks, some horrorcore style tracks, some gangsta tracks and all of that type of stuff proving that Brotha Lynch is far from one dimensional. Some of the standout tracks in my eyes include "Spydle's Birth", "Spitz Network", "I Went From", "Death Dance", "Tried To Shoot" amongst others. As for the guest appearances, they also really shine on this CD (especially Cos and Yukmouth).The DVD is nothing special but it is a worthwhile extra. It contains a live performace of the Siccmade crew with Brotha Lynch Hung commentating, and though the sound quality of the performance is extremely poor, it's still worthy in that it gives the viewer a picture of what a Brotha Lynch Hung/Siccmade Crew performace looks like. The better half of the DVD contains an interview with Lynch where he gives some background on what's going on in his life latley and he talks about the album, Siccmade Records, and also his conflicts with his old label Blackmarket. The total length is somewhere around 45 minutes and though it's nothing special, it's still cool to have a visual aid along with the musical experience. All in all, it's one of the best values you're gonna get anywhere. This could have easily sold for a good $35 or so being what it contains but instead you get all this for just your average album price. I reccomend it to anyone who likes early 1990's gangsta rap and also listens to a little bit of acid rap or horrorcore."
