"The Best of the Brothers Cazimero is bound to land on the CD players of anyone who has spent any time in Hawaii, as a means to summoning the beauty of the islands though far away. The song "Nani Hanalei" takes me directly to the lovely island of Kauai, and the CD as a whole reminds me of driving on Molokai near sunset as the local public radio station played tunes from the Brothers Cazimero. They sing in Hawaiian and English, and this disk serves as a nice summary of their career."

Brothers always maikai

"The Cazimero Brothers are always maikai (good) but I usually prefer the songs they sing in Hawaiian as opposed to English. However, track #16 on this album, "Come Become Hawai'i" speaks to my heart. One hula halau in Kamuela was rehearsing the hula they were putting to this mele, and it absolutely gave me chicken skin. Beautiful to listen to- beautiful to look at. If you buy this album, be sure to listen carefully to the last track. It describes beautiful Hawai'i nei so perfectly. One of the things I love about traditional Hawaiian music is how often the songs describe the beauty of the islands & the Hawaiian people. Tears to my eyes-- joy to my heart. Mahalo nui to Roland & Robert.
"

"I bought this album recently in Honolulu and have enjoyed it often since bringing it home. The melodies and harmonies are truly lovely. Good contemporary listening with an island flavor; this is excellent romantic and mood music."
Very good

"This cd is damn right impressive in that it only covers their first few albums, all of which i own by the way, and its perfect listening from top to bottom. This achievement not only ranks as one of the best hawaiian albums of all time, but one of the most beautifully and masterfully crafted pieces of art that this country should treasure."
