Synopsis

Album Description
Bare Naked Lady bassist, Jim Creegan teamed up with his brother (also a B.N.L. member until 1995) to compile these very personal and flavor filled songs. Sweetly simple pop tunes with hints of Latin spice, odd West African time signatures combined with a classical sensibility, a splash of jazz and a dash of old ragtime. 2000 release. Standard jewel case.

CD Reviews

An Excellent Third Release from the Brothers Creeggan
maroongirl | NY | 01/22/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Jim and Andy Creeggan have delivered another fine album. Compared to their first two, Brothers Creeggan and Brothers Creeggan II, their current album is more pop sounding. Don't worry though, we aren't talking Backstreet Boys here. They still manage to keep their jazz sound, but have updated it a little. Standout tunes include: Stuck, Fondly Yours, Lila, Survey The Situation, and She Married A Cowboy. If you already own the first two albums, I definitely recommend getting Trunks. If Trunks is your first foray into the Brothers Creeggan world, then I urge you to obtain their first two albums. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed!"

"With sophisticated layers of sound and rich vocal harmonies, the brothers have painted a masterpiece with their third recording. I enthusiastically recommend it - and their live performances."
