"This disc offers Bruckner's compositions for the organ. They are all short and light pieces, that accually don't seem to be sounding like the Bruckner we know (grand & monumental). There are also transcriptions of some movements from his symphonies, which are nice to hear on Bruckner's own instrument. You know he played the organ his whole life and was a master of it, but it seems strange that he only composed just a few pieces for the king of instruments! Anyway this disc is very interesting in order to learn more from Bruckner, but it wouldn't be a first choice in order to get into Bruckner, I would say that this disc would be for the Bruckner collector, who already has a vast experience, knowledge and understanding of him first.
The sound is okay, a little faint sometimes, but clear quality.
This is the only disc of Bruckner's organ works, which is a rarity anyhow."
