"If you like your death metal technical and old school this is great album to start with -solid riffing and drumming, can't really hear the bass per se. This is their first album and definately worth checking out."

"brutality was an underated band from tampa this is by far their best album although when the sky turns black is great also this one came out in 93 and featured original guitartist jay ferendez who left after this album and was replaced by bryan hipp every song is heavy and scott reigiel does a great job on vocals the third song is an instrumental with keyboards I know most death metal fans hate the keyboards but it's nice to break it up and just chill on a song and plus you can tell it was definetly classical infuenced anyway the remastered version is great with a bonus song they only made three albums than broke up but what a three years it was great pick up for classic death metal"
