The Scotsman Song is more than worth the price of the CD!!!

"This is it folks, the Scotsman song you have heard on the radio and always wondered where to find it. It is here. The drunk scotsman leaves the bar, passes out and is found by two ladies who decided to look beneath his kilk. After the ladies leave him a small gift, the Scotsman wakes up and finds his gift. If you have heard the song, you remember the exclaimation, "Oh, Lad I don't know where ya been, but I see you won first prize!!!"I love the kind of folk music contained on this CD and I hope you do too."
More than just "The Scotsman"!

"I initially bought this CD for the live track "The Scotsman", but I've been very pleasantly surprised to find a real jewel. This album of "folk" music reminds me very much of the music my Dad and his friends played when I was a child. Recorded long before the days of political correctness, this disc includes a version of "Dixie" that absolutely makes my hair stand on end. If you're a fan of autoharp, dobro, banjo and the like, I strongly recommend this disc!"
My new favorite CD

"What a lovely CD, a terrific blend between Celtic music and Bluegrass. The Autoharp made Grandfather's Clock and Stephen Foster Medley memorable but the best song by far was Beautiful Life. This CD is well worth the price, it is a permanent addition to my CD changer in the car."

"I saw Bryan Bowers for the first time on the television show "Real People" many years ago. I was amazed at his musical abilities and the wonderful sounds created my this man's hands. His music has inspired many of my short stories and the writing of my new book "The Sad Orphan". I can only describe this man's music not as music for the ear, but as music for the heart."
