A historic album and the last of the really good stuff

"Despite Amazon showing the wrong cover photo, Reminiscing is a welcome addition to any Buddy Holly collection. A brilliant LP and CD with tremendous versions of `Bo Diddley' and `Brown Eyed Handsome Man' designed to be turned up LOUD and 'Slipping & Sliding' to slow it down again. It was, at the time of the original LP release, a long awaited sign that there was still some first class Buddy Holly available after his death. A historic album and the last of the really good stuff although 'Giant' and 'Showcase' had a few good tracks this was pretty well it. We got a taste of the undubbed versions on 'For The First Time Anywhere' but we will have to wait for 'The Collectors' Buddy Holly' to come out with all the dubbed and undubbed tracks to find another album release that created as much excitement as this album, 'Reminiscing' did in its day. BUY IT !"
