"I'm very proud of this body of work by my dad. Being the firstartist to ever write and sing his own #1 hit song, it has an originalfeel and a lot of personality. He was without a doubt the one that raised the bar for the singer songwriter."
One of the most underrated performers of early rock

"This album reminds us of the greatness of Buddy Knox who gave us some great music pre-Beatles style. Listen to Devil Woman and Somebody Touched Me. These are terrific recordings. Let's not forget Buddy Knox, one of the almost forgotten greats. Ray Lindstrom"
A nice slice of some classic rockabilly sounds

"When folks talk rockabilly music, they don't mention Buddy Knox. That is, not as much as say, Gene Vincent or Eddie Cochran. But Buddy cut some pretty fine tracks of his own back in the late 50's. Of course, the big hits are here (Party Doll, Hula Love), but so are some great tracks not often heard from Buddy's debut 1957 LP (Devil Woman, Cause I'm In Love) and from late 50's and early 60's singles releases(dig "Swingin' Daddy" and the happy little single "Think I'm Gonna Kill Myself"). If you like rockabilly, then buy this CD and RAVE ON."
