CD ReviewsChallenging, but great 07/01/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "Bugge is clearly interested in pushing music in directions not taken before. His music often requires several listens before you can get into it. I think there is an almost Hawtinesque accent to his sound at times. He never seems to give me enough of the pure jazz I want, almost as if he's teasing me.This new album is excellent, but I didn't get it at first. I think it took me at least three listens before I could enjoy it. This album is a bit more acoustic at points, which I enjoy. There really can be no justice in any attempt to describe, categorize, or reduce this music. Check it out for yourself!"
