"As the liner notes simply state: "WARNING: This is not elevator music. CRANK IT UP!"I don't think I could say it any better. Bugs Henderson is probably one of the most skilled guitartists in America today, and yet virtually no one knows who he is. And from what I am given to understand, he likes that way.I met Bugs in Kansas City this past summer and was struck by his sincerity and his energy, both of which are displayed on "That's the Truth". It's rare these days to see a live act who 1) Starts on time; 2) Without a warm-up band; and 3) Takes one brief 30 minute break all night. OK, not too uncommon until you realize that Bugs started at 9pm sharp and didn't stop until after 2am!The only thing you'll regret about purchasing this CD is that you probably chose UPS Ground and not FedEx Priority!"
Absolutely, the very best in the world!

"Folks.......listen very carefully; Bugs Henderson is the VERY BEST guitar player that has ever lived. Now that is a pretty big statement. From another guitar player ( I am) he is just amazing. The big thrill is seeing him live! He not only plays like no other, he is a great entertainer. Does he make mistakes.........NO! Much credit needs to go to his son the drummer and his bass player who both are as good as they come. If you're ever in the Dallas area, Bugs is a "MUST SEE".........you will be a believer! You ask, "why then is he not a Nat'l act?" He is happy where he is and "the folks at MTV still don't know his name". THE VERY BEST. Jimmy Cole"
A must for Texas Blues Fans

"I have been listening to Bugs for years, both live and recorded. This ablum let's you get a taste of how Bugs is live (at his best). The Shuffle Kings complement Bugs well. Keith Jones is one of the best blues bass men I have ever heard. If you like guitars and Texas blues check this out along with his other albums. Best song: "That's the Truth"."
